Minna Mattila-Aalto
Minna Mattila-Aalto holds a Doctor of Social Sciences (PhD in Social Policy), a Master’s degree in Adult Education and Work Development, is a work physiotherapist specialized in neurological physiotherapy, and a product developer. In addition, she is a professional teacher specialized in leadership issues, a personnel trainer, workplace coach, and mediator.
She has taught at all levels of education and has developed services, companies, work communities, management, and experts alike, following the principle of systemic co-development. She currently works as Head of Research and Development and as the driving force behind her company, Wappu Welfare, which has contributed to the development of working life for 25 years. She approaches work from multiple perspectives as a form of collaboration born through different areas of expertise, with a central interest in improving the overall sustainability of work. She advocates for work-life literacy, by which humanity learns and wishes to take care of its own and its environment’s load, ensuring resilience and carrying capacity.
Work is a human creation, developed for our own purposes, through which humanity produces both good and bad.
The choice of what we produce is ours.
Anneke (Anne) Leinonen
Anneke (Anne) Leinonen, PhD, studied speech sciences as her major subjects and is trained as a teacher, special education teacher, and linguist. She has also studied leadership and is enthusiastic about coaching-based leadership. She has studied NLP (Practitioner, Master, and Trainer Ass.) and has applied its principles in her teaching and supervisory work.
Anne has gained expertise in vocational education as a teacher, special education teacher, and lecturer at a teacher training college. She has also trained customer service and communication at a telecommunications company. She currently works as principal of a community college. One of her central ideas about workplace wellbeing is appreciation.
People should appreciate themselves, their skills, the people they meet, and the work they do. Working life involves many contradictory elements that one can live with – and even grow to like. Greet everyone you meet in your work, and remember that mistakes are essential for development.
