About the authors

Timo Raikaslehto

Timo Raikaslehto, M.Sc. (Econ.), Partner at Board Partners Helsinki, has over 20 years of experience working with top management and boards of directors, both as a business executive and as a management consultant. He has extensive experience in numerous strategy projects as well as in leading and developing strategy work in practice. In addition, he serves as a professional board member and advisor to boards, and is a respected mentor for senior executives.

Seppo Mansukoski

Seppo Mansukoski, M.Sc. (Econ.), has worked for over 30 years in educational and leadership positions focusing on the development of management and supervisory work, including roles at the Savings Bank Institute, SKOPBank, SEFEK Oy, the Ministry of Finance, and HAUS (the Finnish Institute of Public Management Ltd).
He has held several trusted positions, such as Chair of the Association of Training Managers; Chair and President of the International Federation of Training and Development Organisations; Vice Chair of the Helsinki Association of Economists; Board Member of Aalto University Executive Education; and Chair of the Training Committee of the Finnish Reserve Officers’ Federation.
He has authored several books on topics including performance management, mentoring, practical management team work, and human resource management in Finland.

Lasse Mitronen

Lasse Mitronen, D.Sc. (Econ. & Bus. Adm.), Professor of Practice at Tampere University (2022–). Before this, he served as Professor of Practice at Aalto University (2013–2022) and as Professor and Director of the Service Innovation Centre at Tampere University (2008–2013).
He has long-standing experience in the retail sector (Kesko, 1984–2008) as well as in international business research and development. He has published extensively on network management, customer relationship management, and strategic management in books as well as in domestic and international journals. He also works as a management trainer and lecturer in several supervisory and leadership training programs.
