Jari Laukia, PhD, is a history and social studies teacher. From 1987 to 2023, he worked as a vocational education teacher, principal, and director of a teacher training college. In his doctoral dissertation, he researched the history of vocational education from 1899 to 1987. He has authored and co-edited several articles and works related to vocational education, universities of applied sciences, and vocational teacher education.
