Elisa Rönkä serves as the Managing Director, Digital – EMEA at Johnson
Controls, responsible for digital business across Europe, the Middle East,
and Africa, focusing on developing AI-driven business in the traditional
smart building industry. She leads multiple sales organizations and
technical teams that focus on commercializing cloud-based smart building
solutions in areas such as sustainability, operational efficiency, space
management, and workplace experience. Prior to her career in software,
Elisa held several finance roles, where she developed a strong
understanding of the business value of technology and the importance of
return on investment (ROI).

Elisa is recognized as an industry thought leader, frequently speaking at
international events and serving as a guest lecturer at universities. She
has a strong track record of growing new business globally through both
corporate clients and partner ecosystems. Elisa has lived in Zurich since
2018.
